Designing a Life That Fits™
For people who have outgrown the life they've built.
I help thoughtful people create a life that fits who they are now—with greater authenticity, meaning, and purpose.
You don't need to start over.
You may simply need a life that reflects who you've become.
does this sound familiar? You might recognize yourself here…
• You've outgrown a career, relationship, city, or role that once fit
• You feel caught between who you've been and who you're becoming
• You keep encountering the same patterns and aren't sure how to move beyond them
• You feel disconnected from purpose, meaning, or direction
• You're navigating a major transition and questioning what comes next
• You want a life that feels like a better fit with who you are now
You don't have to know exactly where you're headed.
Sometimes the next chapter begins simply by becoming curious about what no longer fits.
You Understand Yourself Better Than You Used To.But understanding yourself and creating a life that truly fits are not always the same thing.
This work helps bridge the gap between insight and action.

Hi, I’m Rebecca Steele
I help people who have outgrown the life they've built create one that fits who they are now.
Many thoughtful people spend years building a life that makes sense on paper.
A career.
A relationship.
A lifestyle.
A version of themselves.
Then something begins to shift. What once felt right no longer does. The life they've built isn't necessarily wrong. It simply no longer fits.
Through self-understanding, identity development, meaning-making, and intentional life design, we'll create clarity about who you are now and how you want to live moving forward.
If you're here, something in you may already know it's time for a new chapter.
It’s an honor to meet you at this turning point.
It is time to realize you can become freer.
Welcome to…
a deeper way of seeing yourself
In a world that often asks us to define ourselves through titles, roles, performance, or productivity, my approach invites you back to something older, wiser, and far more intimate:
your patterned, symbolic life.
Together, we explore the patterns, motivations, values, and questions shaping your life—so you can make choices that feel more aligned with who you are becoming.
This work is about understanding yourself more deeply and creating a life that actually fits.
I’m here to help you see the patterns and structures that shape your life — so you can meet them with clarity, compassion, and choice.
Patterns can change when we understand them.

Let's pay attention to the life that's trying to emerge.
A Deeper Way of Understanding Yourself
Many people reach a point where they realize they're living from patterns that no longer fit the life they want to create.
Archetypes offer one way of understanding these recurring ways of relating to ourselves, others, and the world.
These three archetypal patterns frequently emerge in my work and often overlap in surprising ways:
emotional orphan (wanderer)Learned to rely on themselves early in life. Often searches for a deeper sense of belonging, purpose, or home.
helperFinds purpose in caring for others, often placing their own needs, identity, or direction second.
scapegoatOften feels different, misunderstood, or like they don't quite belong. Longs to be accepted without having to change who they are.
There is another way to live.
A Free Resource for Deeper Self-Understanding
Understand the hidden patterns that may be shaping your relationships, identity, and the life you're creating.
The Belonging Pattern™
A FREE 3-part series exploring the Emotional Orphan (Wanderer), Helper, and Scapegoat archetypes—and how they influence belonging, identity, relationships, and the life that feels most like your own.
You don’t need more insight alone.
You need integration
Self-understanding is powerful. But meaningful change happens when insight begins to shape how you live, choose, relate, and move through the world.
If you're ready to better understand yourself, navigate a transition, or intentionally design a life that feels more aligned, I'd love to support you.
This work is for people who are ready to go deeper, get specific, and create meaningful change.

This is coaching, not therapy.
That said, my approach is depth-oriented and draws from many of the same frameworks I use in therapy—like schema patterns, attachment, and archetypal work.Rather than treating mental health conditions, coaching is about helping you understand your patterns, shift how you relate to them, and move forward with greater clarity and intention.
Some people work with me alongside therapy. Others come to this work after therapy, when they want to continue exploring and applying what they’ve learned.

You don’t need to.
A lot of people come in with a vague sense of:
“Something isn’t working, but I can’t quite name it.”
That’s enough.
Part of the work is learning how to see your patterns more clearly—whether that’s through archetypes, relational dynamics, or the roles you tend to take on.
You’re not expected to arrive with insight. You develop it here.
-
I tend to work with people who are self-reflective and wanting to go deeper.
That often includes:
People drawn to personality systems like the Enneagram, and wanting to go beyond surface-level insight
Expats or digital nomads working through identity, belonging, or transition
Those who notice patterns in relationships, self-worth, or decision-making that keep repeating
People who feel they've outgrown the life they've built and want to discover what comes next
You don’t need to fit into a specific category.
But if you’ve been trying to understand yourself on a deeper level, you’ll likely feel at home in this work. -
Both—but not in a rushed or formulaic way.
This isn’t about quick fixes or being told what to do.
But it’s also not endless exploration without direction. We work to understand your patterns clearly, and then shift how you relate to them in real, practical ways—so the insight actually translates into change.
